Write your Senator -- Oppose Judge Alito for Supreme Court

Write your Senators and tell them to oppose Judge Alito for the Supreme Court. Here's a sample letter I wrote my Senators to tell them it isn't Judge Alito's qualifications or integrity in question here, it is the propriety and integrity of the President in this case.


Filibuster -- Yes!

As your constituent and a loyal American, I must strongly urge you to filibuster Judge Alito's nomination to the Supreme Court.

Our executive is apparently engaging in behavior of, at the least, questionable legality. At worst the President is illegally and unconstitutionally spying on Americans and imprisoning without trial or basic legal rights others. It is imperative not to allow this executive, who may face impeachment or other legal action, the appointment of any more members of the judiciary until this cloud of scandal is removed. To do otherwise is to create an image of impropriety in our otherwise fine judiciary. This reflects not on Judge Alito's qualifications or integrity, but on the integrity and propriety of his nominator, the President.

If you are unable to defeat Judge Alito's nomination to the Supreme Court directly, I urge you and all other loyal members of the Senate to use all means at your disposal, including FILIBUSTER, to prevent his ascension to this country's high court.
